Please read carefully. When you make a reservation with us, these conditions are deemed to have been accepted by all guests that stay at the property.

Inside Hobart would like to thank you for choosing to holiday with us.
Our homes are here for you to enjoy your stay, but please adhere to the Terms & Conditions as outlined below.

Payment Terms

Payments may be made by Visa, Mastercard or Bank Transfer

A credit card surcharge of 1.3% applies to all credit card transactions.

A deposit of 50% of the total rate is required when booking if it is more than 14 days until check-in date. If it is less than 14 days until check-in date, full payment is required at the time of booking. If paying the initial deposit by bank transfer, the bank transfer must be made within 24 hours to secure the booking.

The balance must be paid 14 days prior to check-in date.

Refundable Bond

A refundable bond of $500-$1000 to cover losses, damages and other costs is payable with the final balance of the booking. This bond will be taken from the credit card supplied by you and will be refunded within 14 days of completion of the stay provided that the provisions of these Terms and Conditions have not been breached.   

Cancellation Policy

Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away.

50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in.

No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.


House Rules

The number of guests staying at the property must not exceed the number agreed in the booking details. Additional costs may apply if additional guests are found to have stayed at the property. No visitors are permitted on the property.

Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial or business use. Accordingly the price does not include any extra costs associated with such use in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Any use other than domestic use, unless otherwise agreed in advance in writing with the owners WILL result in loss of the bond and/or additional payments.

Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are your responsibility during the stay. You shall be liable for all costs and expenses incurred as a result of such damage, breakages theft or loss howsoever caused or occurring.

Strictly No Smoking inside the property.

If the property has a BBQ, guests are welcome to use the BBQ but it must be left clean or a $45 cleaning surcharge will apply.

Please leave the house as you found it. This means dishes are clean and put away and all rubbish is to be removed and placed into outdoor bins.

We ask that if anything is damaged, please let us know prior to checking-out so we have time to fix or replace before the next guests arrive.


To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no case shall Inside Hobart, nor its affiliates, officers, directors, employee or owners be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages or for any damages for death, personal or bodily injury, emotional distress or damage to the property, arising out of or in connection with your stay. This limitation applies to all claims for damages including negligence even if Inside Hobart has been advised of the possibility of such. Inside Hobart and/or the owner do not accept liability for any personal loss of injury to the guest/s during the rental period, including that caused by events beyond our control. Events may include, but are not limited to: adverse weather, fire, flood, traffic or flight delays, war, terrorist activity, civil disobedience.
